Brown Recluse Zine Distro is a collectively run zine distro founded by Nyky Gomez based on Ohlone land aka Oakland, CA. It was created in 2013 to support and center zines written predominantly by Black, indigenous, and people of color. This project was born out of passion for zines and frustration at the lack of representation and meaningful zine material for Black, Indigenous, and people of color.
