Tangent
tangent is an independently produced art zine created by London based artist Karen D'amico [1] that explores ideas relating to Contemporary Art Practice and offers a platform for work that perhaps might otherwise go under the radar. The zine features artists’ work in the form of reviews and contributions, as well as arts listings in London and beyond.
Regular features: asked and answered, the Dear You project, thoughts on a grey day, arts listings and artist contributions.
Irregular features: show reviews, articles, images, drawings, comix, ideas and observations, the odd rant and whatever strikes my fancy, really.
In London you can buy tangent at: The ICA bookshop, Transition Gallery, Clapham Art Gallery, Studio Voltaire, The FleaPit, The Residence and Space Station 65. It’s also available at Moot in Nottingham, and internatonally at Zeke’s Gallery in Montreal, Flux Factory in New York, Sticky in Melbourne and EyeLevel Gallery in Halifax Nova Scotia.
Now on it’s 8th issue, tangent is published bi-monthly and costs £1.00. To find out about stockists, news, subscription and submission information check out the website. [2]
