Dvorak Zine
From ZineWiki
Jump to navigationJump to searchWritten and illustrated by Alec Longstreth, Michael Cardiff & Gabe Carleton-Barnes, the one shot Dvorak Zine is part animated user's guide, part history lesson on the development of the modern keyboard. The zine explains how the now-standard QWERTY layout was decided upon, while also examining the work of August Dvorak.
August Dvorak produced a different, more efficient keyboard layout design that resulted in faster typing and less muscle strain. The Dvorak Zine attemps to persuade computer users to utilize the Dvorak Simplified Keyboard Layout, while informing of the benefits.
