Jump to navigationJump to searchBluestockings Books is a bookstore, fair trade cafe, and activist center in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, NY. The store is powered by over 40 people who volunteer their time on a weekly basis. Bluestockings currently has over 4,000 titles. In addition to books, the store carries zines, DVDs, menstrual products, calendars, journals, posters, patches, pins, and Zapatista products.
Zine Readings
Bluestockings hosts zine readings about four times a year. The last reading took place on March 23, 2007, and featured 10 different zinesters. The next reading is scheduled to take place in June.
