Gambit (USA)
Gambit is a science fiction fanzine by Ted White.
Gambit was published in the U.S.A. It appeared in the 1980's, and more than 50 issues were released. Issue 55 was released in March 1982.
Contributors of art work include Lee Hoffman (Quandry), Bill Rotsler, and Dan Steffan (Boonfark). Cover art work was by Dan Steffan, among others.
Contributors of writing included Avedon Carol (Pulp, Chuch), Malcolm Edwards, Lee Hoffman, and Paul Skelton (Small Friendly Dog).
Ted White also co-edited Stellar with Larry Stark in 1956-1957, followed by Void when he joined the founding editors, Greg and Jim Benford in 1960. Other fanzines he's published include Null-F (for FAPA), Minac with Les Gerber, Egoboo with John D. Berry, Crank with Rob Hansen, egoscan, and Pong (with Dan Steffan). In the 1990s, he and Dan Steffan won the FAAn Award for Best Fanzine for their title BLAT!.
