Pardon the Typos
Pardon the Typos was an art zine from 2000 edited by Gregory Scaff.
Pardon the Typos consisted of eight typewritten 4 1/4 X 3 inch pages. It was a xeroxed mini-publication available in Burlington, Vermont, U.S.A. in 2000 under the label of Bite Me! Press. The zine was guerrilla circulated in bookstores,libraries and coffee shops.
Pardon the Typos was a social commentary, art criticism and Sex Positive zine. It spoke for the legalization of prostitution, was pro-porn, pro-nudity and pro-feminist. Over several issues, it contained essays on Vermont artists Dana Carlson and Mike Mayone,and reviews of Burlington art galleries. It also contained bibliographies and a recommended reading list of books which espoused Sex Positive values. Pardon the Typos also had essays on American journalist Lori Berenson, and one which promoted the use of a gender-neutral, third person pronoun, "tey".
