The Nearsighted Revolution was written by Christie Gorman Shaw from 1994 till 1998. There were 3 issues.
The zine had charming, funny and touching stories from people who are nearsighted. It was intended to make people feel proud of wearing glasses.
The zine focused on indie music reviews, especially those of the cassette underground such as Union Pole Records, Shrimper, Bobby J, and Charlie McAlister.
Other zines by the same author included Miscellaneous and Refreshing Times Flow Gently, with Missy Kulik of Pocket zine.
