Chiaroscuro
CHIAROSCURO has been published in the Salt Lake City, UT area since November 2002. It was published monthly for the first year and now is published roughly quarterly.
CHIAROSCURO is edited by Tony and the vast majority of its contents are created by his two minions: "Eric blair" and @doomlazer. Tony, the editor, is also the first prophet of MotherCat - the godlike figure of the "y-not" religion which is often mentioned in the zine as well as the producer/manager of the official band of CHIAROSCURO: The S.P.R.3.
While it has been published for a surprisingly long time and has occasionally been somewhat entertaining, CHIAROSCURO is generally known for launching the career of Bradley Sands, the only author to have his debut novel ("It Came From Below the Belt") finished by his clone following his death in a bloody humus "accident."
Other contributors have included Jason Earls.
The 28th issue was completed at the beginning of October '06, the following is the official press release:

What? You didn’t know there was a 33rd issue of CHIAROSCURO? You must not watch The Awkward Hour. That’s awkward, eh? It took us less than four months to throw this one together, certainly an improvement over the last issue’s 18 month gestation period. Let’s see… what is in this piece of shit…. Well, a new @doomlazer style cover! Tony’s back and The Baron has been given the title of “Associate Editor!” Tony responds to your letters ( ChiaroscuroZine@hotmail.com ) and The Baron issues a correction! Zine co-founder E. Blair attempts to explain his creepy fascination with Amanda Bynes! The origin story of The Milkman! The other zine co-founder, @doomlazer, presents “A Detailed Lyrical Analysis of the Sweet Valley High Theme Song!” If you think Crystal’s cartoon is dirty just wait until you get to “A Distraction!” The greatest father I’ve ever known throws down some mad rhymes! E. Blair vents his frustrations with S.L.U. magazine! Last, but not least, Boracho Moonshine donates some CHIAROSCURO fan art and a story too disgusting to believe! Enjoy!
