Der Stein
May 2010
Issue 1

Der Stein (German for "The Stone") is a zine by Julie Doucet from Montreal, Canada. The initial issue was published in May 2010. Der Stein is written in bad German. Eight issues are published so far.

In the late 1990s Canadian cartoonist Julie Doucet abandoned the medium of comic books and went back to printing. Woodcuts, linocuts and silkscreen printings are followed by an abundant production of artist's books.

It is possible to flip through the complete zine on the webpage of the Melton Prior Institute.
