Spearhead was a poetry zine edited by Thomas H. Carter and published in the 1950s.
Contributors included Stanton Coblentz (Challenge), e.e.cummings, August Derluth, David H. Keller, Joe Kennedy (Vampire), Lilith Lorraine (Different), Clark Ashton Smith, and William Carlos Williams.
The last issue published was Spearhead Vol. 2 No. 2, which appeared in Spring 1951.
Thomas H. Carter was also one of the founders of The Shenandoah Review and name sake of its literary prize.
