Born in Texas and raised in Northern California, MariNaomi entered the zine world in 1997 when her autobiographical comics were published in the New York-based anthology, Action Girl Comics. Since then, she has continued on to be featured in many publications, including The Comics Journal, Not My Small Diary, indieFLY, Pet Noir, her own self-published Estrus Comics, and many others.
