Rigor Mortis is a zine devoted to the horror genre and published out of Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A.
While the first issue focused primarily on zombies and reviews of zombie movies and books, later issues will have a broader horror-related theme, with more essays and columns. The related Rigor Mortis blog has additional reviews. The zine is edited by Davida Gypsy Breier (as DeadVida), with contributors including William P. Tandy (as Grim Pickens) and Dread Sockett.
Issues
- 1. "Apocalyptic all zombie first issue!" Features a comic about the career of Tom Savini and a history of zombies before George Romero. Includes movie, book, and graphic novel reviews. (January 2009)
- 2. Includes an overview of the Christian horror genre, reviews of three film versions of Nosferatu, a look at paranormal reality television shows, and more. (October 2009)
