It is both a personal account of rejecting god as well as a look at why a godless life has changed the author for the better. It covers the author's time as a Pentecostal Christian and how he left that life for one without faith. It then discussed the three things the author feels faith in a higher power breeds in humanity: diminishment of self, diminishment of responsibility, and the disconnection from nature.
