My Brain Hurts is an independently published comic illustrated and written by New York artist Liz Baillie. Each issue features a hand-stamped cover (and issue five's cover was printed in glow-in-the-dark-ink).
My Brain Hurts follows the lives of best friends Kate and Joey, two queer teenage punks. The series begins with 16-year-old Kate falling for a female friend and 13-year-old Joey dealing with issues with his father.
Microcosm published a collection of #1-5 as a single volume graphic novel in August of 2007.
