Apoplectic Cards are greeting cards "for the socially conscious and cynically astute seeking a brief respite from mindlessly festive pseudo-occasions." In other words, zinester-made greeting cards with the message you really want to send. Many of them sport messages that are cynical, anti-commercial, or both. The cards often feature a collage of old-timey illustrations with a lengthy, gloomy tirade on the flipside. They are designed and drawn by Bob Mannseichner, from Ontario.
