Artcore fanzine is based in Cardiff, U.K. and edited by Welly.
Artcore is one of the longest running zines in the U.K., Artcore began in January 1986. Artcore reached their 30 year issue in 2016. There are a variety of other side projects to its name.
Artcore features interviews with hardcore punk bands, reviews and articles. The other half of each issue, entitled 'Vaultage', features indepth biographies of bands and labels, as well spotlights on punk artists new and old. Artcore has a specific emphasis on the graphic art of the punk rock movement, and its presentation reflects that, as well as a special interest in hardcore music of the 1980's.
