A comic book or comic tells a story through sequential artwork. A comic may be published in zine format, online, or offset printed.
Unlike DC or Marvel, independently produced comics typically focus more on the everyday, average person (usually the author of the comic), rather than a superhero. Independent comic book stories typically resemble the type of stories you’d find in perzines.
Independent comics may be sold alongside other zines by some distros.
