United Productions Issue 1 was a one shot zine created by Aaron Cynic and many other people in the south suburbs of Chicago.
The zine featured many different contributors from the south suburbs of Chicago writing under surnames. The zine was designed and printed by a collective of individuals involved in the suburban Chicago punk scene, and was intended to run more than one issue, though no further issues ever materialized. U.P. Issue 1 consisted mostly of satirical pieces meant as commentary on the punk scene in the area circa 1997. Around 75 copies were printed.
