Canzine has been held annually in Toronto, Ontario, since 1999. In 2005, a side-a-long conference called Canzine West was added in Vancouver, British Columbia. Canzine is produced by Broken Pencil Magazine.
In 2006, three Canzines are planned:
- on October 21 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
- on October 22 in Vancouver, BC, Canada
- on October 29 in Toronto, ON, Canada
