A show of hands zine (Stepney, S. Aust.: A Show of Hands Zine, 1993-) is a personal zine created by Michelle de Cean that contains many references to the Adelaide Punk/Hardcore scene. The title of the zine was taken from the name of a woodworking store in Columbus, Ohio, where the author was living with her family till 1992.
The zine was described by the author, in The new pollution (1997) as, "...essentially the ramblings of my own dreamy and overactive mind. I write mostly about the things in life that make an impact, and sometimes I even write about larger things of importance. It really depends on what kind of day it is."
