Gray Matter was a music zine published out of Flower Mound, TX during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
It had a lot more effort put into it than your average music zine, including a fairly original graphic look and layout, good artwork, and socially conscious editorials. Its music content was focused on heavy metal, and to a lesser extent, punk rock. It was quite lengthy, often 60 pages or more.
