"Thistle" was a goth zine published by Erika Small and E. Katie Holm. It was a quarter-sized zine, illustrated with line art and funereal photography. According to Small, the "drippingly gothic" poetry and illustrations were originally meant to be tongue-in-cheek. Nevertheless, "Thistle" got good reviews in "Propaganda" and other goth zines.
