Jank was a one-page monthly fanzine put together by Janelle Hessig and Jeff Jank in Berkeley, California.
The zine began as a house newsletter where they reviewed their many houseguests and chronicled the history of their house, which, among other distinctions, had once housed famed LSD chemist Augustus Owsley. Later, the fanzine branched out to cover a variety of topics, including past presidents and sleazy date spots.
Jeff Jank is now the in-house artist at hip hop label Stones Throw.
Janelle Hessig continues to publish her long-running fanzine Tales Of Blarg.
