History

Glasgow Zine Library came out of Glasgow Zine Fest, which began in 2014.

Collection Policy and Donations

Glasgow Zine Library has an official collection policy[1]. They will not accept zines that perpetuate or contribute to racism, sexism, homophobia, biphobia or transphobia. They are keen to collect zines which are by LBGTQ people, people of colour, working class people, disabled people, or women, and zines on Scottish politics, feminism, local interest, sex and relationships, and mental health.

They welcome any donations, but do not guarantee they'll be displayed in the library.
