Karl Grünewald is a punk, zine writer and experimental musician living and creating in Thessaloniki, Greece. The first zine he did was back in late 80's ("Headbanger", a metal zine), followed by three more zines ("Activist", anarchist/sociopolitical, "We Transmit Resistance", anarchist/sociopolitical and "Kalashnikov", DIY punk/anarchist/sociopolitical). Since November 2015, along with his partner, visual artist René P.G., they do a visual arts zine called "Māo Pào", with three issues up to now.
