Issue #4

Grrrl Noire (first three issues as "Girl Noire") is a political perzine by Kim Riot who currently resides in San Diego, CA.

Kim Riot started publishing Grrrl Noire in 2001, after a long hiatus from zine making. Currently, the zine run is eight issues, typically about one a year. Topics usually include life as a post-punk, eco-activism, anarchism, and body image. The style is cut-n-paste with a multitude of collage and visual elements mixed with text. Most of the later issues utilize a manual typewriter.

Girl Noire is included in the Zines and Mini-Comics Collection at San Diego State University.
