Jessie Duke was the co-founder and managing editor of the weekly newspaper Fahrenheit San Diego and has written and done editorial work for a number of publications, including Herbivore Magazine, Risen, and the Portland Mercury. She has three serial zines, The Hard Fifty Farm (Punch Drunk Press 12/16/12), Confessions of a Terrible Mother: The Hidden Side of Parenting (2013), and The Cruelty-Free Homesteader (2013).
