Pixie Girl was a perzine created by a girl named pixie in Queens, New York, U.S.A.
Written during a time she suffered from undiagnosed panic attacks and obsessed with music, and was turned down for an internship at Sassy magazine due to being unable to pay for college right out of high school, Pixie Girl was largely rants, with album reviews and band interviews, with an odd "curse" that every band interviewed for the zine broke up.
pixie also was a record reviewer (and at the time, the only woman) for Punk Planet until someone stole a box of records and CDs when she lived on the Lower East Side before that area was prestigious and safe.
Currently, pixie is the singer of a Connecticut punk band, The Midnightmares and is still writing online constantly, if not in zine form.
