suburban gothic is a perzine created by Rae Logios, published in Omaha, Nebraska, U.S.A.
The first issue was released in winter 2003, and there have been seven issues with two half-issue suppliments to date. Rae has described suburban gothic as "an artsy cut & paste perzine" covering topics such as life in the suburbs, memories, heartbreak, mental illness, identity, paranoia, photographs, and ghosts. Rae also frequently writes about identification with various pop culture items, and includes quotes from relevant songs, movies, and books.
Issue #4 included artwork by AR of Lovely Ugly Cruel World zine.
Issue #7 was released in January of 2011, after a six-year hiatus.
