Sarah Wood, along with her friend Kelly Curry, founded and owned GERLL (Girls Empowered Resisting Labels and Limits) Press, a zine distro based in Chicago, Ill., in the early to mid-1990s. In 2003, she donated a collection of 150 zines to Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, U.S.A., acquired as part of the Sallie Bingham Center for Women’s History and Culture. The zine collection is called the Sarah Wood Zine Collection.
