Battles is a collaborative art zine edited and published by Alex Chiu.
Issue one was created during the 2007 San Diego Comic-Con by students of the Neko Press comic art school in La Mesa. The concept of the zine is to challenge artists to visualize unique characters based on specific prompts. Issue one included a satan-robot battle, a rabbit-squid battle, and a monkey-dragon battle.
