READ Zine Making Party ia a site specific event for the creation of zines.
The first event took place on September 21, 2001 at the University of Iowa School of Art's 'Checkered Space', during which the first issue of READ zine was created. Each participant made their own page for the zine. The events are accompanied by musical performances, video installations, slide shows, instructional lectures and /or juggling bonanazas.
