Tony Longshanks LeTigre is a zinester, hacker, author, and journalist from Portland, Oregon, and San Francisco, California, U.S.A.. He is aka GlamorTramp, the Whimsical Wizard of ZiP, and a dozen other monikers of varying legitimacy.
Mr. Longshanks created & edited DRECK MegaZine in Portland in 2005-06 and helped organize the Portland Zine Symposium for three years, from 2005 till 2008. He self-published the chapbooklet What I Really Want Is in 2009 before leaving Portland for Maui and then the Bay Area.
In December 2011, Longshanks conceived ZiP: Zine in Progress (http://zine.noisebridge.net), a collaborative "megazine" inspired by Noisebridge hackerspace in San Francisco (https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki), which launched with its inaugural issue in January, 2012. He started a discussion group and mailing list for Zino-hackers (or Hackro-zinesters, if you prefer) around the same time.
