Just Can't Maintain is a zine based Decatur, IN., U.S.A.
The first issue was released November 18, 2009. The zine is twelve pages, photocopied black and white. Only one hundred copies are printed of each issue. All material is done by hand, there is no computer editing involved in the work. Submissions are accepted and encouraged. The actual pieces within the zine include (but are not limited to): photography (film), drawings, jokes, short stories, poetry, essays, paintings, quips and collages. The only running line between each issue is a featured independent band.
Just Can't Maintain is based on the idea that no theme can be maintained forever.
