Aedes zine is produced by Joe Kidd and is one of the earliest underground music fanzine in Malaysia.
It features interviews with punk, hardcore and metal bands from around the country and abroad. It started in 1987 and ended in 1996 with 8 issues. The editor Joe Kidd did a weekly column in local newspapers in the 90's called Blasting Concept. The column features news and reviews of the independent music and zine scene at that time. He currently active in doing the webzine Ricecooker.
