DrunkenWerewolf Magazine was founded by Tiffany Daniels in 2006, as an extension of drunkenwerewolf.livejournal.com, with the intention to promote and interview genuine talent in the musical world. Consequently it focuses on new and influential artists who, for one reason or another, do not get the attention they deserve from the mainstream press.

Although the journalists are their own person, and therefore justifiably support different genres, the content leans towards folk and acoustic music. The magazine primarily covers musicians, but also features and reviews comedians, plays, fiction and art work; it continuously celebrates innovative, progressive and experimental ideas.

Although based in Bristol, UK, contributing writers, designers and illustrators are found across the globe.

Some of those involved with DrunkenWerewolf Magazine were previously writers of the zines Bored Youth, Wears The Trousers and Bizarre Prostitute.
