Noise Queen was a zine done between 1996 and 2001 out of Kingston, Ontario, Canada, by Tim Murphy.
It ran for twenty-five issues, of varying length, with #1 being six half sheets of pink laser printer paper, done in one day of delirium on 3/29/96. The zine contained editorials, fiction, articles, and reviews of zines, recordings and books, frequently punk or indie oriented.
After Noise Queen, the editor moved on to PONYBOYS, his 'zine to 2008 (at which point he has done two digest-sized issues of A BEAR SHOULD KNOW BETTER...AND I DO in 2008), as well as a couple of one-off travel zines (T FOR TEXAS AND T FOR TIMMYBEAR and HOLIDAY IN THE SUN, about Texas and the Dominican Republic respectively) and three poetry collections in 'zine format, two digest and one full-sized...as well as pursuing his career as a rock star and collecting groupies (well, one groupie).
