The Skirt (May 2007-) is a monthly zine by Chloe Hughes, a zinester and artist from Sydney, NSW, Australia.

The author's art practice focuses on social conventions, questioning issues of normality and familiarity, she describes her practice as follows: “An object may embody a dynamic signification if an individual's interaction with that object is continuous.
