Highest Population of Rock Stars (HPRS) is published by Amy Greenan, who started the zine out of love for the local music scene she was involved in Port Chester, NY in the mid-90s. The first issue came out in February 1995. Subsequent issues became more and more personal in nature. The most recent issue, a limited edition wooden box with accordion-folded pages, leans toward the artist book category but was made with zines in mind, using photocopied text and images, and hand-cut linoleum stamps throughout. That issue, #15, was released in May 2007.
