The Old Detective's Watering Hole is a newsletter/zine that has been a part of Comicopia since its debut in September 1990.
The newsletter was originally produced on a 16-bit Atari 400 computer. Now it's created on a 32-bit 2Ghz Athlon PC with desktop publishing software, sent by e-mail to the Distribution Manager Mike Aragona as a PDF.
The newsletter includes Mailing Comments, a large offering of updates on Jeff's life and doings, as well as feedback on comics.
It also includes ocassional prose by Jeff.
This zine ran for 100 issues until April 2007.
