Contempoculture Magazine was a zine that was first published in 1979 in Austin, Texas.
In the beginning there were four co-editors, Ellen Gibbs, Kathy Darr, Stewart Wise and Robin Bordie. Even though Robin Bordie was the instigator and the inspiration for Contempoculture, she dropped out after the first issue and was never heard from again.
