Manga Rider – possibly the first Polish zine dedicated to manga and anime and one published the longest, was founded by godai and fuzzy (Lord EE Baobab) in 1997. It includes reviews of Japanese TV series, films, and comics, as well as articles on the increasingly popular manga and anime in Poland at the time. Initially, the zine also published manga adaptations ("Lum*Urusei Yatsura" by Rumiko Takahashi), and later, original comics ("Drużyna P.E.W." by M. Herman and R. Adler).

Originally (in 1997-1998), five issues were released (numbered from 0 to 4). After the planned monthly cycle collapsed and a break ensued, two editions were published online in English in 1999.

In 2019, the zine was revived and issue 5 was released. It is published irregularly. Covers for issues 0-7 were done by godai, and from issue 8 onward by Kasuga Kyo.
