Andy writes about touring with his agit-punk band Submission Hold that existed from 1993 till 2006.  The Vancouver house he lived in was a gathering place for west coast punks for many years, and stories of the people who passed through are a staple of the zine.  Frandroid Atreides of [[Great Worm Express Distribution]] has described the zine as "part fiction, part perzine, it doesn't really matter what's true and what's not because it just sounds great."  

[[Hal Niedzviecki]] of [[Broken Pencil]] called ''I'm Johnny and I Don't Give a Fuck'' "one of the great Canadian zines of all time."
