Zeen was a long running Kansas City, MO fanzine that lasted throughout the 1990s. Not your typical music zine, Zeen's layout was art school/design oriented, bold, took chances, and for the most part was pretty visually appealing. The letters to the editor were answered in the most anal manner in zinedom, torn apart almost sentence by sentence for spelling errors and inconsistencies - absolutely hilarious because the responses were so over-the-top. The columns and interviews were well done, featuring a variety of bands and artists. Around 20 issues were published.
