Yul Tolbert is a comics artist and zinester from Detroit.

He is best known for his Timeliketoons zine, subtitled 'Cartoons made for the 21st Century'. His comics are droll, multi-racial, thoughtful, and all with a high technical skill.

He is also the editor of Gen X Suicide Life, from which an excerpt was reprinted in the compzine Excerpts from Perzines Issue One.
