Yard Sale! is a quarterly perzine written by Harley Rex. He is based out of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada and frequent themes in the zine include unrequited love, local music, DIY culture, coming-of-age, and suburban life.

YS!1 (the indiepop issue) was published in May 2009 and included interviews with Toronto dancehall band Bonjay, David Barclay of indiepop band The Endless Bummer, and Kristin Cheung of the website papercubs.com, in addition to comics, reviews, games, and more.


YS!2 (the fanzine issue) was released in August 2009 at Toronto's Zine Dream 2 zine fair. The zine featured similar content and tone to the first issue including interviews with Toronto promoters Daps Duo and Emma Ditchburn of indie rock band The Most Serene Republic.


YS!3 (the autumn issue) was released in November 2009 and featured a shift from half-page to quarter-page sizing and an increased focus on perzine material over fanzine. For the first time the zine boasted a full-color cover and had writing about baking, Canzine, cold weather, and failed bicycle rides. A free photograph was included with early copies.


YS!4 (the being single issue) was released in February 2010 on Harley's 25th birthday. The zine featured writing about ex-girlfriends, past lovers, and reflections on a quarter of a century.


YS!5 (the you can go home again issue) was released in April 2010. The zine featured memories, anecdotes, and photographs that related to Harley's childhood neighborhoods.


YS!5.5 (the it's new to me issue) was released in May 2010 to coincide with the World For A Buck craft fair. The zine was a shortened introductory issue for newcomers with writing on how Harley first got into zines and synopses of the first five issues.


YS!6 (the summer issue) was released in July 2010. Harley's entry in the 2010 24 Hour Zine Thing, the zine featured musings on summer and the zine challenge.


YS!7 (the school & work issue) was released in October 2010. The zine featured writing on high school, part-time jobs, and university. The zine's original content was supplemented by a number of pieces that originally appeared in other zines.


YS!8 (the new dawn issue) was released in January 2011. The zine featured writing on 2010 in review, 2011 in preview, and Harley's first public zine reading.


YS!9 (the fiction issue) was released in March 2011. The zine was a one-issue switch from perzine to litzine format and compiled short fiction and poetry by Harley.


YS!10 (the music issue) was released in June 2011. The zine featured writing about first concerts, high school bands, working in a record shop, interning at a record label, and starting an arts collective.


YS!11 (the summer top 30 issue) was released in September 2011. The zine featured a countdown of the top 30 people, things, and incidents from Harley's summer of 2011. Also included was a bummer top 10.


YS!12 (the unrequited love issue) was released in December 2011. The zine featured documents of rejection and disinterest along with a multitude of lists.


YS!13 (the daily diary issue) was released in March 2012. The zine features daily diary entries from the first two and a half months of the year.


YS!14 (the live on location issue) was released in June 2012. The zine features diary-style entries written exclusively while out at events and parties.


YS!15 (the offline issue) was released in September 2012. The zine features Harley's attempt to go one month without using the Internet.


YS!16 (the my diary year issue) was released in December 2012. The zine concludes Harley's chronicling of 2012 in diary format.


YS!17 (the California issue) was released in February 2013. The zine documents Harley's ten-day trip to San Diego.


YS!18 (the daydream believers & homecoming queens issue) was released in May 2013. The zine documents first dates, indie touring, and struggles with sadness.


YS!19 (the world keeps spinning issue) was released in August 2013. The zine features summer romance, lecherous men, music festivals, and Harley's favorite 50 albums.


YS!20 (the bachelor of education issue) was released in November 2013. The zine chronicles Harley's enrollment in teacher's college.


YS!21 (the everyday tears issue) was released in January 2014. The zine is a series of love letters.


YS!22 (the spring healing issue) will be released in April 2014. The zine will document Harley's week-long trip to Vancouver, British Columbia.
