Why I Don't Eat Meat is a compzine featuring interviews with pescetarians, vegetarians, and vegans. The zine was first published in October 2010 in Ontario, Canada, and edited by Harley R. Pageot.

Contributors include Charlotte Lee, Andrea Manica, Persephone Pomegranate, Dave Roche, and Laura-Marie Taylor amongst others.

The zine is divided up into sections which include Why We Don't Eat Meat, What Motivated Your Initial Change?, Struggles & Problems, Favorite Meals, and Advice.

The zine is purposefully written in a conversational, non-judgmental tone in the hopes of reaching a larger number of readers that way as opposed to the often abrasive tendencies of other vegetarian literature.
