What I Saw From Where I Stood is a perzine written by Eva Louise.

A deeply personal zine, What I Saw From Where I Stood contains the experience of the author traveling with a group of friends to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina to help with flood damage and dealing with the sudden and accidental death of one of those friends.

Eva also writes about becoming pregnant and choosing to have her baby, and how that affects her "punk" identity and lifestyle. She includes DIY instructions for modifying pregnancy pants and a nursing bra, as well as preserving and eating the placenta.
