Underground Violence is an email distributed metal fanzine started by Walter Beck and Phil Hanslits at Vincennes University in October 2005. It specializes in metal and all subgenres associated with it; including, death, doom, black, sludge, thrash, speed, progressive, traditional, and avant-garde.

The zine has featured interviews with God Forbid, Eyes of Fire, Cephalic Carnage, Cryptopsy, Vital Remains, Hate Eternal, Nevermore, and Suffocation

The zine has also been affiliated with many underground bands all over over the country; including, Python, Dark Haven, Merciless Death, Genocya, Fecal Corpse, Odin's Forrest, Stinky Left Pinky and Death Muffin
