The Trenton Free Public Library in New Jersey has a circulating zine library, created in August 2021. There are currently over 300 zine titles, from the 1990s to current day, along with books about zine culture. Zines are located in the Poetry Cafe on the first floor of the library at 120 Academy Street in downtown Trenton, and can be accessed during regular library hours. Those with a TFPL library card can borrow any titles with barcodes for a period of two weeks. There are also many free zines for the taking.

The Trentoniana Local History Department at the library also holds a non-circulating New Jersey Zines ("Jer-Zines") Collection which can be accessed in their reading room, currently open by appointment.

"Trenton Free Public Zine presents……" is the library's very own zine series with topics of Trenton interest. Mini-zines about the history of the library itself, the Battle Monument, Trenton on the eve of the Revolution and during actual battles, Hedgepath-Williams vs. Board of Ed, the ad man R.C. Maxwell, soldier Needham Roberts, Pork Roll, comedian Ernie Kovacs, musician George Antheil, poet Ntozake Shange, punk club City Gardens, and many other topics on Trenton history are all free to grab in the Poetry Cafe and at several places in the city.
